Who is behind Campus to Capital?
Sussex Place Ventures is an early-stage venture capital investor that backs entrepreneurs building software companies with strong intellectual property (IP) across B2B SaaS, AI-enabled technologies, deeptech, fintech, and climate & sustainability.
We are an independently managed venture capital firm associated with London Business School.
What prizes and support will the winners receive?
Selected finalists will pitch at the final event at London Business School. Finalists will receive:

1:1 mentoring from a carefully matched network of investors, founders and operators

Cash prizes of up to £5,000

Who can apply to the competition?
Campus to Capital is open to any startup that meets all of the following criteria:

Founded in the last three years
-
Raised under £500k in total funding
-
At least one co-founder is a university graduate from the last five years (under- or postgraduate)
You do not need to be affiliated with LBS to apply; this is a UK-wide competition open to all eligible applicants.
Do I have to attend the final event in person?
Yes. Finalists are expected to pitch live at the Campus to Capital final in November 2025 at London Business School.
At least one co-founder must be present to pitch.
What information do I need to provide in the application?

Can I still come to the final pitches if I am not a finalist?
Of course! Everyone is welcome to attend the final pitches – it’s a great chance to enjoy the presentations and network with the LBS community!
